Robert Calvin “Bob” Nesselrodt, 84, formerly of Keyser, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, W.Va. 

Born Jan. 2, 1935, in Arthur, W.Va., he was the son of the late John and Naomi (Berg) Nesselrodt. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherin J. (Hunt) Nesselrodt in 2015; three brothers, Paul, John Jr. and Ray Nesselrodt; and three sisters, Pauline Marple, Esther Jones and Eveline Ray.

Bob is survived by one daughter, Vickie (Doug) Lambert of Petersburg, W.Va.; two sons, Randy (Melody) Nesselrodt of Petersburg and Lawrence (Beth) Nesselrodt of South Charleston, W.Va.;  four grandchildren, Ryan (Christine) Lambert of Franklin, W.Va., Derek (Carrie) Nesselrodt of Petersburg, Corey Lambert of Morgantown, W.Va. and Katie (Seth) Neptune of Maysville, W.Va.;  four great-grandchildren, Rosalyn and Alby Nesselrodt, and Luke and Parker Neptune; three sisters, Betty Feaster of Petersburg,  Maxine Nelson of Maysville and Saundra Kay (Lonnie) Mauzy of Dorcas, W.Va.; one brother, Roger (Wanda) Nesselrodt Sr. of Maysville; sisters-in-law, Rose Nesselrodt of Charles Town, W.Va., Wanda Nesselrodt of Keyser and Delores Nesselrodt of Mount Storm, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was a member of the Petersburg Church of God. He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1953 where he played football and baseball. He was dedicated and passionate about his work. He owned and operated trucking, logging and mulching businesses in Petersburg and Burlington, W.Va. for over 50 years.

Funeral services were Saturday afternoon at Petersburg Church of God, 13 Myrtle Ave., Petersburg, with Bishop Ray L. Black and Pastor Yvonne Black officiating. Burial was in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
